LEI NICO (Diana) is an actress training at The William Esper Studio for Meisner Technique. Her pursuits and artistic interests revolve around wellness and healing. ANNETTE GORDON-REED
ANNETTE GORDON-REED (Herself) is the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard. She won sixteen book prizes, including the Pulitzer Prize in History in 2009 and the National Book Award in 2008, for The Hemingses of Monticello: An American Family (W.W. Norton, 2008). Her most recent book is On Juneteenth (Liveright Publishing, 2021). Her honors include a Guggenheim Fellowship, MacArthur Fellowship, National Humanities Medal, National Book Award, and Frederick Douglass Book Prize. She served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College from 2010 to 2018.

LAUREN REJENT (Helen) is a recent Rider University graduate. She has a BA in theatre with a concentration in film, and her theatre credits include Hamlet, These Seven Sicknesses, and Me Too Monologues. Lauren is also a member of Crash Content Productions where she writes and stars in short films.

ALAN MCINTYRE
ALAN MCINTYRE (Director) is a New York-based filmmaker, cinematographer and teacher. Stargazer was made in concert with his students and the faculty of Rider University. Smith has shot over twenty feature films, most recently A Vigilante, starring Olivia Wilde, and the short film Killian, starring Michael Madsen. Others include All Mistakes Buried (2016), and Best Cinematography winner White Rabbit (2015), starring Brit Robertson, Sam Trammell and Nick Krause. The New York Times cited “thickly atmospheric photography” and The Hollywood Reporter mentioned White Rabbit’s “impressive cinematography.” Smith has shot music videos for Vintage Trouble, 3OH!3, and his TV credits include PBS’ Retro Report, TLC’s Four Weddings, and many commercials. Since 2004 Smith has taught cinematography at Purchase College, State University of New York, as well as Digital Filmmaking at Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts starting in 2011. www.alansmithfilm.com

ROB ACKERMAN (Co-writer) work includes the film Origin of the Species (with Amanda Peet, Jean Louisa Kelly, and Michael Kelly, directed by Andrés Heinz), Dropping Gumballs on Luke Wilson (ART/NY, directed by Theresa Rebeck), Teach for America (commissioned by ACT in San Francisco, directed by W.D. Keith), the book for Volleygirls (winner of four awards at NYMF, including Most Promising New Musical and Best in Fest), Call Me Waldo (Working Theater, directed by Margarett Perry), Tabletop (American Place Theater, Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble, directed by Connie Grappo). His plays have been anthologized by Vintage Books, Dramatists Play Service, Smith and Kraus, and Playscripts, and nurtured at Yaddo, The Lark, and Dorset Theatre Festival. For 25 years, he worked as Prop Master for the SNL Film Unit. Married to author Carol Weston, he is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America, Inc.

JUSTUS MCLARTY (Executive Producer) began his career planning wilderness trips for groups like Outward Bound. He later designed rafts and spent months on American rivers. When he got to New York, his survival skills translated directly to film production. Justus was the Film Unit Producer at SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE from 2010 to 2019, where he produced hundreds of short films including Farewell Mr. Bunting, The Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders, and the Opening Title Sequence. Most recently he served as Co-Producer and UPM of the indie comedy Werewolves Within, which premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival in 2021.

ROBERT VAIL (Choreographer/Hippomenes) grew up in the Bay Area and began training as a dancer at the age of 5. He continued all over the country and at age 17 attended New York University’s Tisch Dance Program on scholarship. During this time, Robert worked and trained with Nederlands Dance Theater, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, Azure Barton and Sean Curran. Robert has worked as professional dancer for the last decade in New York. Highlights include multiple appearances on The Tony Awards, The Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live as well as working with Dua Lipa, Will Smith, A$AP Rocky, GAP, Estée Lauder, Vogue, and Hermès.

Shawn Kildea
SHAWN KILDEA (Locations Producer) is the Chairman of the Department of Film & Television at Rider University where he teaches primarily studio and documentary production. He has co-produced several award-winning films with his students including: Stills of the Movement, about a Civil Rights-era photojournalist; Children of Terror, about two women who survived the Holocaust and WWII. More recently he has collaborated with a student to produce a pilot for a documentary-series titled A Two-Front War, about black soldiers returning from world wars and their influence on the Civil Rights Movement. Shawn’s work has been broadcast on public television, screened at festivals, academic conferences, The University of Alabama, Miami University, Morehouse College, and the Simon Wiesenthal Museum of Tolerance in New York City.
